Baywood Country

Golf Pro. Jim Williams, a native Texan, was born and raised in Pasadena , Texas. He graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 1970. After high school, Jim enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served from 1972 through 1976. From there, he attended Valdosta State University in Georgia where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. Jim was later hired at Killearn Country Club in Tallahassee, Florida serving as the Assistant Golf Professional from 1980 thru 1983. He then went on to play in the T.P.A. Tour (pre-Hogan Tour) from 1983 through 1985. Jim went on to later caddie for the PGA Tour from 1991 through 1998. In 2000, Jim became the Assistant Golf Professional for the Battleground Golf Course in Deer Park, Texas. He worked there until his decision to join us here at Baywood.
